Carol J. Surprise, age 82, of Fremont, died on Thursday, March 8, 2012, at the Weyauwega Health Care Center. She was born on December 25, 1929, in Appleton, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Lester and Blanche(Garrow) Hein. Carol worked for many restaurants in the Fremont area. She enjoyed fishing. Carol is survived by her children, Christine(Ron)Weyers, Fremont; William(Marilyn)Koehn, Florida; and Alan(Linda)Surprise, Little Chute; nine grandchildren, Deanna, Lester, Alicia, Candice, Kimberly, Nicole, John, Eric and Kris; six great-grandchildren, Samantha, Belynda, Breanna, Travor, Jessica and Sierra Lynn; a brother, William(Marjorie) Springer, California; a sister, Gloria(Bob)Minehan, Hawaii; a half-sister, Sheila Hein, Appleton; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Peter Koehne. Per Carols’ wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service held.
